to mention that I offer 3 different Commodore Boards for your pleasure. Come

Nice to know about Your C= BBS'es.
The POTS Line is gone, learning hw 2 use this Android thingy now.
The first BBS that I joined was a C= BBS in Louisville, KY.
That was in 1984.
Ain't fired up the C=64 in years.
It watched Me as I used the 486, and the XP.
Since getting this thingy I don't have to be in the room where the C=64 can
watch me.

2 years ago I lost internet service here, but I recall reading about the UIED
card.
Made me drool.
I haven,t called the shop that can repair Commodore gear in ages.
Thought maybe I may get one of those cards so a SD Card could be used instead
of Floppy Disks.
But that was years ago.

My C=64's back end has a Super Snapshot cartridge in the right, and a
Omenitronics (?) RS-232 in the left sockets on the back.
(Not in the room to see how to correctly spell the Brand Name of the RS-232
adapter).



I probably would have to unplug one of those cartridges to use that UIED
device.

Excuse the excessive quote text, don't know yet how to edit text from the on
line connection yet ...

I can just picture how sad it was sitting there wanting it's user to play

The uIEC/SD goes in the cassette slot. So I am sure you can get one
and use it with the hardware you are already using.

Thanks for telling me the UIED card uses the Cassette port.
I will keep that idea on the ROUNDTUIT List.

It uses the cassette port for power, you can also use a usb cable to power it
which is what I do so as to not take any power from the C64, I just plug it
into the wall.. Something to think about..

Speaking about the Cassette port.
I have used a Digicom 2 board plugged in the Cassette port for Amateur Radio
packet long ago.
