I think so. That you can use your same set up. I do.

I use a RS232 cable from a RS232 adapter plugged in the user port of my
commodore to a small Linux box I have running Fedora core 4 and tcpser on
it. It's to a com port on there. All so can get it to work with a USB to
RS232 on the Linux box.

I can call commodore BBSes now too. I have the small Linux box running 24/7
all the time. So I just load CCGMS 5.5 Terminal Program with the same set up
as Q-Link reloaded and I can just type like

atdt bbs.jammingsignal.com:23

or

atdt sonictemple.dyndns.org

It connects super fast then with no modom or phone line. Just over the
Internet. Works real good. On the commodore it's just like the old modem
days only a lot faster and no waiting to connect.

Yes if you can telnet to BBS's thenyou can connect to Q-Reloaded BUT
you do need the Qlink disk either an image or a real one More info at

Hmm. Q-Link Reloaded seems to be near dead at the moment though. Even
it's founders have left...

Illness is more truthful, but the effect is the same.

Right now, the main thing is PHP-based web admin screens. Without them,
it is tedious to add/remove/edit accounts, hard to add content, and
impossible to add files to the system (well, almost impossible).
