Happy turn-back-the clocks weekend, C= and Ami aficionados! :)

The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:00+p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13, at

Panera Bread Restaurant
3590 W Shaw Ave. (corner of W. Shaw Ave. and Marty Ave.)
Fresno, CA 93711

I will be telling about my adventures in Europe! From a visit to AmigaKit in Cardiff (Wales) to a club meeting of the Lincoln Amiga Group to a trip to the Dienstagstreff Commodore Club (which really should be called Samstag now) in Bochum, Germany to the National Museum of Computing in Bletchley Park (England) to the HomeComputer Museum in Helmond, the Netherlands, and to the Netherlands Commodore Show in Maarssen. Photos and short videos included!

Also I will talk about the grueling filming schedule during the October Amiwest Show. (Ask me about how jet lag affected my filming!) There are also a few goodies obtained at Amiwest.

In hardware we try out TheC64 Maxi from Retro Games, Ltd.. This newly-bought computer was picked up directly from the Menkind store at the County Mall in Crawley, England. It works perfectly, and an original, brown Commodore 64 will be brought in for comparison to TheC64.

The day after the meeting, I'll be traveling to the Pacific Northwest... last call for your repair items for C= technician Ray Carlsen.

Truly,
Robert Bernardo

How did the meeting go? I was going to fly down for the meeting but I had
obligations at my mom's house that couldn't be avoided.

How did the demo go?

How did the meeting go?
I got to show off newspapers from England, all of them in regard to Queen Elizabeth's death and the ascension of King Charles. I also showed a slide show of my visit to the National Museum of Computing in Bletchley Park.

How did the demo go?
It went fairly well. TheC64 Maxi worked like a champ... no problems there and very easy to use. When I tried to use the Orange Cartridge on the C128, it opened into its screen which says "Super-REU," but I had forgotten to bring a microSD card, i.e., it wanted video files to play on its movie player.
